2016 – John Comitis purchased the status on Mpumalanga Black Aces and relocated the team to Cape Town.

2016/17  3rd in the ABSA Premiership. Winners of the Telkom Knockout, beating Supersport United 1 – 0 in the final. Lost 0 – 1 Acornbush FC in round one of the Nedbank Cup.

2017/18  5th in the ABSA Premiership. Lost 1 – 1 (2 – 4 Pen) to Supersport United in the final of the MTN 8. Lost 0 – 1 to Baroka FC in round one of the Telkom Knockout. Beat Wits and Pirates in the Nedbank Cup before losing 1 – 2 to Mamelodi Sundowns in the Quarterfinals.

2018/19  4th in the ABSA Premiership. Winners of the MTN 8 beating Supersport United 0 – 0 (4 – 1 Pen) in the final. Lost 0 – 2 to Amazulu FC in round one of the Telkom Knockout. Beat Supersport United and Highlands Park in the Nedbank Cup before losing 0 – 2 to Kaizer Chiefs in the Quarterfinals.

2019/20  6th in the ABSA Premiership. Lost 0 – 2 to Polokwane City in Round One of the MTN 8. Lost 1 – 1 (2 – 4 Pen) to Kaizer Chiefs in round one of the Telkom Knockout. Lost 0 – 1 to Mbombela United in Round one of the Nedbank Cup.

2020/21  7th in the ABSA Premiership. Lost 0 – 1 to Orlando Pirates in Round One of the MTN 8. Beat Bloemfontein Celtic, but lost 1 – 2 to Chippa United in Round Two of the Nedbank Cup.

2021/22  2nd in the ABSA Premiership. Beat Amazulu and Swallows, but lost 1 – 1 (2 – 3 Pen) to Mamelodi Sundowns in the final of the MTN 8. Lost 1 – 2 to Royal AM in Round One of the Nedbank Cup.
